This National Workshop on Climate Resilient Urban Plans and Designs, held on 17-20 October 2016 at Sequoia Hotel in Quezon City, Metro Manila, was the first round of workshops for national government agencies. Its aim was to provide a dialogue platform for the partner agencies, and for the participants to be inducted into the scope of the BCRUPD project. Moreover, the workshop’s broader purpose was also to introduce knowledge about climate change, resilient design, and planning interventions, and to share experiences and lessons learned. Throughout the week, the training workshop facilitated discussions on how to move forward with climate change initiatives and design interventions into national and local policies.
